To capitalize on this opportunity, the company is seeking a seasoned Sales Trader with exceptional sales skills, trading expertise, and technological insight.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Over-The-Counter (OTC) offers for B2B clientele while advancing the sales trading platform.
Your Daily Job
* Manage and maintain the OTC Offering catalog.
* Supervise daily activities of the sales trading platform to ensure consistent operation and reliability.
* Analyze data to generate insights into trading activities, customer behavior, and market trends.
* Establish strong commercial relationships with key customers by proactively calling and listening to their expectations.
* Provide proactive market insights, technical analyses, and models to help customers make informed decisions.
* Develop new OTC platform features and services aligned with customer expectations.
* Determine required ICT and business features for the platform.
* Contribute to increased trading volumes and margins on the OTC platform.
* Perform trades on commodities markets for B2B & Luminus Portfolio Management.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or economics.
* Knowledge of energy markets, including CWE power, gas, and CO2.
* Experience in sales trading, OTC markets, or financial services, with a strong track record of success in B2B sales.
* Familiarity with financial instruments (forwards, options, swaps, etc.).
* Proficiency in MS Excel and/or Python.
* Fluency in French and Dutch.
* Strong organizational, decision-making, and analytical skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with adaptability in changing market conditions.
* Ability to stay informed about industry developments and maintain a commitment to ethical conduct and compliance.
* Creative mindset, with ability to provide concrete advice and translate abstract concepts into practical solutions.
