ECS Account Executive – Public Sector – European Regional & Security Organizations
We’re seeking a curious and energetic Senior Account Executive with a passion for technology, value-based solution selling, and experience working with the public sector. In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling the entire Salesforce platform into a select group of European Regional & Security Organizations. You’ll operate like a “General Manager” for your accounts, aligning resources, crafting strategic account plans, and working alongside product specialists and technical experts to deliver solutions that drive customer success.
What You’ll Do:
* Own the Account Strategy: Lead the sales cycle for a small set of named accounts, creating and executing comprehensive strategies to drive success across multiple stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Co-Primes: Work closely with product specialists to map out the best approach for each customer, ensuring alignment with Salesforce’s solutions.
* Solve Business Challenges: Act as a trusted advisor to uncover customer needs, strategic goals, and challenges while positioning Salesforce as the solution.
* Evangelize Salesforce Solutions: Help customers leverage the full potential of the Salesforce platform to transform their business operations and achieve long-term success.
* Partner for Success: Collaborate with a dedicated team of solutions architects, sales engineers, and internal partners to support your customers and ensure the highest level of service.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven Success in Sales: Demonstrated experience in carrying a sales quota and closing technology solutions-based deals, particularly in large and complex accounts.
* Strategic Account Planning: Strong ability to build and execute plans that drive sales results, uncover opportunities, and meet customer needs.
* Research & Discovery: Skilled in understanding customer processes, business challenges, and strategic objectives to develop tailored solutions.
* Excellent Communication: The ability to engage with customers clearly and concisely using a variety of communication methods (writing, presentation, whiteboarding, etc.).
* Resource Utilization: Capable of leveraging the full array of resources and tools available to achieve results.
* Team Selling: Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and partners to ensure customer success.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
* Public Sector Experience: Previous experience working with public sector accounts is a plus.
* Fluency: Fluent in English, with Dutch and/or French being a strong advantage.
* Quota Achievement: A history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales quotas.
* Greenfield Territory Success: Experience in turning greenfield territories into established customer bases.
* Fast-Paced Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Experience with EU & NATO: Previous sales experience within European Union and NATO organizations will be highly advantageous.
* Resilience & Adaptability: A high-energy, proactive individual who can adapt quickly to new challenges and changing environments.
