Our client is globally active in the chemistry industry.
In the light of their strategic growth in Europe, they are on the lookout to strenghten their management team with a B2B Sales Director.
Functie
* You lead the Sales departments in the regions DACH, France & BENELUX.
* You are responsible for shaping and translating the sales strategy for the aforementioned markets into concrete action plans tailored to the chemical packaging industry.
* You ensure the direct management and motivation of the Sales and Marketing team, consisting of 40 employees.
* You visit & negotiate with clients & stakeholders, therefore you will travel +/- one week/month.
Functie-eisen
Proven Leadership Experience:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, ideally in the chemical, industrial, or packaging sectors. Experience managing teams of 5+ people and overseeing departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations is essential.
Strategic Expertise:
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth in excess of >100 EUR million annually. Strong analytical skills and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex B2B environments.
Industry Knowledge:
* In-depth understanding of the chemical industry, including safety standards, regulatory requirements, and packaging solutions. Familiarity with sustainability trends and innovative packaging technologies is a plus.
Relationship Builder:
* Extensive experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders, such as distributors, manufacturers, and key decision-makers. Ability to navigate complex negotiations and align with customer needs.
Technical and Commercial Skills:
* Strong technical understanding of packaging solutions, combined with commercial acumen. Ability to provide technical support during negotiations and present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
Team Leadership and Coaching:
* Exceptional people management skills with a proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams. Experience in leading teams through transformation, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation.
Language Skills:
* Fluency in English, Dutch, German and French.
Educational Background:
* A Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Results-Oriented:
* Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
