Hello all, slightly different on today,
For a Hydrogen Plant in Belgium, my client is looking for support in the critical area of Mechanical Design, to work on our clients' cutting edge Hydrogen Stacks.
The contract length is 4 months extendable, which our client has done to afford the engineers the chance to see if they enjoy working in such a niche industry. It is not without it's challenges, but the feedback we have received from the engineers already there has been immensely positive.
The working pattern is 3 days on-site and 2 days from home, with the very real opportunity for a longer-term/permanent contract in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct mechanical calculations for the sizing of the STACK
* Develop technical specifications for the mechanical sizing of the essential components within the STACK.
* Collaborate with the supply network and ligase between between the design and industrialization
Requirements:
* A degree in mechanical engineering, with an emphasis on fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or thermal engineering.
* Extensive experience in a comparable position.
* Knowledge and skill in areas such as manufacturing and assembly of mechanical components, pressure equipment, finite element analysis (FEA) and surface treatments.
* Strong command of both French and English
If this position looks interesting, please send your CV to my email - joe.brazier@g2recruitment.com and I will be delighted to discuss this further.
Kind regards,
Joe
