Key Responsibilities:
* Increase Bidding Activity: Develop and execute strategies to increase the number of bids in auctions, driving engagement and competition.
* Improve Sales Conversion Rates: Analyze sales data and implement methods to enhance conversion rates across auctions.
* Reduce Cancellation Rate: Monitor and optimize auction processes to minimize cancellations and ensure smooth transactions.
* Set-up of supply partnerships and improve their performance: onboard and manage relationships with supply partners to diversify and strengthen auction offerings.
Key Activities:
* Pricing Management:
* Initiate pricing estimates and provide feedback to clients.
* Oversee the pricing management: speed, types, visibility, and pricing algorithms adherence.
* Auction Management:
* Manage and monitor bid transmissions and address errors by liaising with clients.
* Set up auctions for new suppliers and drive supplier efficiency.
* Resolve any supplier purchasing issues.
* Select suitable auction types (e.g., Open, Tender, Fixed) for optimal outcomes.
* Supervise supplier performance and provide monthly reports.
* Collaboration with Data Science Team:
* Work closely with data science for insights and optimization in pricing and auction management.
* Team Management:
* Lead and mentor team members to meet auction and pricing goals.
* Business Development:
* Assist in identifying and securing new partnership opportunities.
* Establish processes with new partners.
* Ensure the success and profitability of partnerships.
* Product Development Feedback:
* Provide consistent and actionable feedback to enhance product features and usability.
* Competitor Benchmarking:
* Conduct regular benchmarking on pricing, services, and user experience to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in pricing and/or auction management, preferably in the automotive or e-commerce industry.
* Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to pricing and conversion improvement.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with experience in business development.
* Ability to work collaboratively with data science and product development teams.
* Leadership experience with team management skills.
