Account Manager Oncology/Ophthalmology
As an Account Manager your mission is to drive company performance in designated areas, meeting and exceeding sales goals for assigned brands. You’ll be responsible for the company's performance in the Mid-South of Belgium (Namur, Charleroi, Dinant,...). You will play a critical role in executing customized plans for healthcare professionals (HCPs), with a focus on Oncology/Ophthalmology, to improve long-term relationships with target customer groups.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Management
• Responsible for local sales targets, develop action plans how to reach the targets and ensure efficient resource allocation based on segmentation and targeting strategy
• Drive the implementation of marketing strategy on the field and translate territory analysis and opportunities into action plans and measurable results
• Engage customers, strengthen relationships and improve their knowledge and experience with Bayer products
Market information
• Search, gather and analyze market information, new information regarding the competition, HCP’s, … in order to stay up to date and ensure relevant information is shared with the Bayer organization and all internal stakeholders are provided with up-to-date insights about the market
• Analyze experience of our target customers with Bayer products and perception of materials and strategies and share these insights with internal stakeholders
Customer interaction
• Inform, influence and convince target customers in line with the marketing and sales strategy in order to strengthen the relationship with them and enhance their knowledge and experience with the Bayer product
• Execute multichannel customer interactions, tailoring information based on HCPs needs and priorities and via HCPs channel preference to build trustful & long-term customer relationship by applying patient focused global standards (PFI) - patient focus interaction
• Digital savvy: utilize the advantages of digital solutions to ensure a holistic customer experience and satisfaction through data driven decisions

WHO YOU ARE
• University degree with preferably a (para) medical background with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in account management and solid experience in people management
• Strong communication skills in national language (French) and in English (good understanding and basic knowledge to express yourself is a minimum)
• Strong digital mindset, capabilities and confidence towards multichannel usage
• Exellent ability to think economically and action accordingly
• Willingness and ability to adapt quickly to changes and learning agility
• Very good relationship (networking) skills and the ability to organize yourself
• High independence and intrinsic motivation
