Job Description
In all countries where the Eurofins Network has a significant presence, country-level support services are pooled into a National Service Centre (NSC), in order to be more efficient and effective, and to ensure an adequate level of compliance and control.
The Finance Director directly manages the National Services Centre, delivering services for Group management entities and holdings in Luxembourg and Belgium. They also act as the custodian of the quality of the financial information and processes for Group service functions outside of these two countries (Ireland, Poland, India etc.)
Specifically, with a team of circa 10 employees located across two sites (Brussels and Luxembourg), and in strong cooperation with the Group Service Centre stakeholders (M&A, Legal, Treasury, Group Accounting etc.), the Finance Director is responsible for:
1. Day-to-day leadership and performance management of the finance teams, processes and activities, including the development of strong teams (accounting & reporting, payroll & HR, treasury, tax & legal, finance IT)
2. The quality, efficiency and compliance of the services delivered for the Belgian and Luxembourg service centers (external audits, internal controls, etc.)
3. Invoicing all ‘Group’ fees to the operating legal entities in a timely and reliable manner
4. Direct management of the Finance and Payroll teams in Brussels and compliance with local regulations on those two fields
5. Overseeing and aligning the financial activities of other Group service functions outside of Belgium and Luxembourg, in strong collaboration with the relevant stakeholders (local controllers and Finance Directors, in particular)
6. Acting as the ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for Inter-company transactions (responsible for Group guidance and process description and improvement, managing the ‘Inter-co community’, etc.).

Education
17. Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience
18. 8-12 years of experience (preferably at least partly in Belgium for Finance/Tax/Payroll knowledge), of which 2-3 years in a similar positionExperience in a big 4 audit firm is a plus
Language skills
19. English (fluent written and spoken)
20. French is beneficial
