KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Operations Management:
* Be responsible for logistics operations for the site’s customer;
* Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards;
* Coordinate resource planning in terms of efficiency and feasibility;
* Optimise operational performance; propose improvements to management and implement them;
* Ensure comprehensive claims management (reporting, estimates, repairs, etc.);
* Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers/customers to ensure efficient operations management;
* Supervise problem resolution in the event of a major operational problem in accordance with management guidelines;
* Follow up on any customer complaints and find the most appropriate solutions with the quality department;
* Ensure that WSC and customer KPIs are met and take the necessary action in the event of any anomalies;
* Lead meetings, assign tasks and follow up on them.
Supervise teams (white & blue collars):
* Allocate and coordinate team work;
* Act as a people manager by creating a motivating team dynamic;
* Maintain an efficient working environment;
* Help employees grow and develop skills within their department;
* Ensure the integration of new employees into the team and their role by providing training;
* Receive and check information related to staff performance in preparation for monthly payroll;
Projects:
* Act as the person responsible for monitoring the execution of ongoing projects on site
* Support implementation schedules for each project
QUALIFICATIONS :
* Degree in logistics, supply chain or equivalent experience in the field;
* Minimum 7 years' experience in transport and/or warehousing operations;
* Proven experience in managing medium to complex site;
* Client-oriented
* Analytical profile with data- and fact-based reasoning;
* Strong mindset for continuous improvement.
* Ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and actively contribute to the ongoing optimization of processes and workflows.
* Excellent communication skills, results- and solution-oriented;
* Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility;
* Curiosity, open-mindedness and willingness to learn outside your comfort zone;
* Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Comfortable working with digital tools and open to adopting new technologies that support warehouse operations and performance tracking.
* Fluency in Dutch, and/or English and/or French is required to support our expansion;
