The Position
Roche Belgium & Luxembourg is seeking an individual to join our team in Brussels as a Patient Safety Partner. In this role you will actively shape the internal and external environment to improve the safe use of our products and services. The role offers wide exposure within our company to achieve our vision of delivering greater benefits to patients while reducing costs to society.
As part of a broader Safety Organization, the Patient Safety Partner supports the comprehensive oversight of local PV compliance. This includes readiness for inspections, acting as a deputy point of contact for safety-related aspects internally and externally. Additionally, the Patient Safety Partner contributes to the high-quality operational execution of safety-related activities, working with Pharmacovigilance Hubs.

Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to maintaining an effective pharmacovigilance management system compliant with Roche, European and national authority requirements, ensuring high-quality execution of safety activities, including managing Individual Case Safety Reports, Pharmacovigilance Agreements, Safety Data Exchange Agreements, Risk Management, Safety Communication, and clinical studies.
* Provide safety expertise for assigned pharmacovigilance responsibilities and therapeutic areas, while proactively collaborating to generate actionable safety insights and implement solutions valuable to patients, healthcare professionals, and the business.
* Drive mindset and behaviors in the local affiliate to advance pharmacovigilance customer centricity and value for patients.
Who You Are
* A hands-on team player capable of autonomously advancing projects and tasks, demonstrating emotional intelligence and effective communication skills.
* Experienced in Pharmacovigilance within an affiliate setting (over 3 years preferred). Additional experience in other medical functions or global clinical product development is advantageous.
* Holder of a scientific degree with a deep understanding and passion for pharmacovigilance and patient safety, knowledgeable about new molecules and therapeutic areas.
* Proficient in managing competing priorities and prioritizing effectively.
* Skilled in finding innovative solutions to challenging problems, with proven analytical and creative capabilities.
* Capable of designing and maintaining PV processes and oversight systems that are straightforward, effective, and efficient.
* Knowledgeable about other functions within the pharma business, including drug development and market access, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
* Strategic and critical thinker with experience in outcome-based planning.
* Customer-centric, with a strong understanding of patient journeys, health systems, and Roche products/integrated healthcare solutions.
* Agile and able to thrive in a dynamic environment undergoing transformational change.
* Proficient in English, Dutch, and French.
