Job Description
To strengthen our division Knowledge (KN), we are currently looking for a Field Manager for the Auditors.
Primary responsabilities:
The overall aim of the Field Manager role is to train, mentor, evaluate, coach and motivate auditors and ensure a timely and effective execution of their audit-related tasks and activities in accordance with applicable KPIs, objectives and procedures.
In this position you act as the first point of contact for all recruited and/or subcontracted auditors to discuss and assist in managing work-related or issues in private domain that might/will cause friction with the responsibilities of auditor
Supports the Operations Manager and helps to maximize/optimize the operational performance of the entire KN auditor pool and take appropriate actions to ensure that auditor-related operational Global KPIs (CHA%, UTL%, query response time, TAT, .....) are continuously achieved.
In this position you shall overview, coordinate, prioritize, (and if needed) escalate all required actions and tasks performed by auditors within the KN auditor pool.
On a regular basis execute 50% of the available time)
Specific Responsabilities
1. be the auditor's first point of contact for work-related and private issues.
2. ensure that auditor-related operational Global KPIs (CHA%, UTL%, query response time, TAT, .....) are continuously monitored and achieved.
3. on-board, train, mentor and coach newly recruited of subcontracted auditors with (technical) support from Product Managers, whereby you ensure that they become qualified as soon as technically possible and fully capable of conducting audits.
4. coach auditors, whereby you ensure that they can perform their work under optimal conditions, that they can further develop their know-how and expertise and that they enjoy their job (foster their mental health and well-being)
5. coordinate and prioritize the various activities of your team members in function of applicable KPIs, objectives and procedures.
6. motivate, coach and develop the competencies / soft skills of the various team members, whereby you identify training needs and organize appropriate training
7. offer solutions for operational or technical questions of problems from team members
Special responsibilities:
1. initiate and follow-up of corrective and/or preventive measures to avoid recurrence of negative trends of overall performance
2. conduct annual performance/appraisal interviews with individual auditors
3. develop, monitor and supervise on-boarding plan for new ly recruited / contracted and training plans for existing team members
Reporting Line:
Reports hierarchically to the Operations Manager of SGS Belgium NV, Knowledge Solutions
Auditors report hierarchically to the Field Manager.
Work closely together with Office Manager, Team Leaders and Product Managers.

- In-depth knowledge of our certification activities and associated procedures/Preferable Qualified Lead Auditor
