Coach and develop team members, ensuring continuous training and a positive work environment. Inspire your team to maximize potential, foster collaboration, and maintain motivation. Maintenance Leadership: Oversee all asset care activities, ensuring equipment uptime, reliability, and smooth production. Optimize maintenance processes to reduce costs and minimize downtime while maintaining high quality standards. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance strategy to enhance equipment lifespan. Manage the maintenance budget, including outsourced activities like facilities management, to align with financial goals. Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, C, FDA, Halal, Kosher) across the site. Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, quality, safety, and HR teams to align maintenance activities with overall production goals. Support the automation architecture of the site, collaborating with the Automation Manager to ensure new systems meet maintenance needs. Operational Excellence & Energy Efficiency: Drive operational excellence by focusing on energy efficiency and optimizing utilities management for 19 buildings. Lead energy reduction initiatives and contribute to sustainability goals. Lead a team of 6 direct reports focused on improving the reliability and performance of critical assets. Who are we looking for? As an Asset Care Manager, you: Hold a Technical Masters degree or have a Bachelors degree with relevant experience. Bring at least 7 years of experience in maintenance within a production environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role. Have hands on experience in asset management, preventive maintenance, and process optimization. Are fluent in Dutch and English ; French is a plus. Have experience managing budgets and are familiar with SAP. Possess strong cross functional collaboration skills, working effectively with production, engineering, and reliability teams.
