My client is an international leader in minerals product for industry, providing high value-added functional solutions for a wide range of industries, from construction and agriculture to consumer goods.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support by answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email.
2. Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries.
3. Take ownership of user problems from the ITSM ticketing tool.
4. Implement, manage, and maintain workstations.
5. Perform installations, upgrades, and deployment of workstations to Microsoft Windows 10.
6. Troubleshoot and solve workstation-related problems.
7. Image and prepare assets such as laptops and mobile devices for deployment to users, ensuring assets are tagged and entered into the asset management system.
8. Carry out routine maintenance of IT systems.
9. Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
10. Provide local assistance for the L2/L3 System Administrators (Server, Network, Application, ERP).
11. Ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to.
12. Act as the local contact person for assistance in IT.
13. Travel to sites located in Germany (15% to 20% of the time).
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of experience in IT Support.
2. Fluent in English and German.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft workstations and servers.
4. Administration experience of MS Active Directory users, groups, policies, and management concepts.
