Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to manage the operational and tactical aspects of our supply base. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring competitive pricing, quality, delivery performance, and supplier stability
* Maintaining an efficient and sustainable supply chain aligned with Cortina's 4C sustainability strategy
* Leading cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders
* Analyzing and optimizing supply chain costs through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements
* Innovating supply chain processes using new technologies to enhance visibility, efficiency, and security
* Developing strategic sourcing plans to maximize supply base potential
* Driving efficient inventory management through data-driven decisions
* Setting and tracking key performance indicators to optimize supply chain performance
* Creating and executing a risk management strategy to prevent disruptions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* A master's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a supply chain role
* Experience in the footwear industry or PPE is desirable, with Far East/China experience being an advantage
* Strong analytical skills with excellent reporting and communication abilities
* Good planning and time management skills, with a structured and precise approach
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Office and Excel for data analysis
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A mature personality with stress resilience and problem-solving skills
* The flexibility to travel extensively
* Fluency in Dutch and English, with additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Italian being an asset
