Collaborating closely with colleagues and leaders across VIB, you’ll play a pivotal role in realizing our HR strategy.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesShape and implement the HR strategy: develop tailored HR strategies, tools, and policies in collaboration with the HR team and through co-creation with VIB colleagues and leaders. Lead impactful HR projects: manage key initiatives in leadership, open feedback, recruitment, onboarding, and more to elevate the employee experience. Provide targeted HR support: offer comprehensive support to centers and HQ across the employee lifecycle, including organizational change and internal communication. Coach and train managers and employees: empower managers and colleagues with best practices and policies to foster growth and development. Stay curious and innovative: continuously explore HR trends and innovations to drive improvement and excellence. ProfileEssentialYou hold a master’s degree in human sciences or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in a similar role with a proven track record of implementing HR projects. Experience in an international, multicultural working environment is preferred. Knowledge of (business) psychology and change management skills. Expertise and experience in leadership models and development are recommended. Leading and managing projects is your thing—you know how to turn ideas into action. You are strategic and analytical, always spotting opportunities for improvement. You have a curious mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve. You have a keen awareness of organizational dynamics and love staying ahead of the curve with fresh ideas. Your communication and interpersonal skills make you a trusted colleague. Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken, you’re ready to connect and communicate effectively. You are committed to learning, growing and investing in your personal development.
