The Organizational Development (OD) Manager is responsible for defining and rolling out the company strategy in terms of performance management, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, career development and succession planning to enhance the effectiveness of the organization and its employees. You will be part of the global Talent Development team and report directly to the Talent Development Director.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Planning and Development:
1. Collaborate with senior stakeholders and the HR Relations team to align organizational goals and business objectives with workforce strategies.
2. Manage the recurring workforce planning process cycle in alignment with the company strategic plan and yearly budget cycle
3. Continuously monitor and analyze the effectiveness of the workforce planning initiatives
2. Organizational design:
4. Lead and manage organizational design initiatives and play an active role in strategic transformation initiatives by advising, coaching and supporting business leaders on org design choices, whilst providing options and recommended solutions
5. Provide expert advice to senior leaders and the HR Relations team organizational development best practices and strategies.
3. Leadership Development:
6. Design and implement leadership development programs to build management and leadership capabilities.
7. Mentor and coach senior leaders to enhance their effectiveness in managing teams and driving results.
4. Performance Management
8. Support the business in managing performance and fostering a performance-driven culture.
9. Ensure that performance management practices are consistent across regions while being adaptable to local needs and cultural considerations.
5. Career Development and Succession Planning:
10. Oversee the implementation of succession planning initiatives to ensure a pipeline of future leaders within the organization, with a focus on critical roles.
11. Work with leadership to identify talent gaps and create strategies to fill them.
6. Competency & Skills framework linked to Upskilling & Reskilling
12. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure that the competency framework is aligned with TVH’s strategic goals and performance expectations.
13. Integrate the competency framework into different HR processes.
14. Take actions to engage employees in capability building and work with L&D on implementing upskilling and reskilling programs based on identified capabilities gaps
7. Global Collaboration
Work closely with the HR Relations teams and CoEs across regions to ensure alignment in organizational development initiatives and share best practices. Ensure OD strategies are tailored to regional needs while maintaining global consistency.
HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE
15. University degree preferably in a relevant field
16. 5-10 years relevant working experience (in Organizational Development, as HRBP, or consulting), with at least 3 years in a people manager role
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (qualitative and quantitative), as well as the ability to simplify complexities to make them easy to navigate through
18. Organizational change management experience
19. Demonstrated project management and governance of large-scale projects, including flexibility to adapt an approach and timelines as needed
20. Agile mindset and open to change
21. Experience in working with senior management and strong stakeholder management
22. High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
23. Knowledge of Organizational Design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
