This role will be located in Mechelen, Belgium
The regional director Africa Branches is responsible for sustaining and growing the business in his/her dedicated territory for all Nipro Branded products within the branches and our key accounts. The role will heavily focus on creating a framework for new business opportunities and further grow the local offices in the territory.
He/she manages and has final responsibility for the territory’s P&L and will execute – contribute -develop the strategic plan for continuous growth and sustainable profit for all Nipro branded products - whereby the role holder can count on great local teams in the branches.
He/she will develop together with the Country Managers specific country objectives and guide them in achieving these goals. On the other hand, he/she will help the Country Managers in closing deals and ensure that the path of further development and growth is achieved by being in personal contact with key stakeholders (key distributors/healthcare authorities/ministries), whereby an overall customer satisfaction is being attained and maintained. At the other hand he/she will also further develop with the key accounts our growth and look for strategic partnerships in order to sustain and support our growth.
He/she will be continuously looking for new developments/tools/products in collaboration with the category managers and country managers to push and further develop the identified product category over this territory in the short and long term.
What you'll do
1. Monitor and control the P&L over the region and for all Nipro branded products commercialised in the designated territory, vs the budget.
2. Control and identify corrective actions within the branches, in collaboration with the country managers
3. Define corrective actions to meet the identified targets
4. Provide periodically an accurate management report concerning business performance
5. Preparation of annual territory budget
6. Coach and guide the team and local branch managers
7. Define objectives and participate in assessments/reviews
8. Being the bridge between the HQ and the local organisations
9. Supporting of business development activities in the territory in collaboration with the branches and the Key Accounts
10. Prepare sales plans and actions in collaboration with the category manager/country manager and/or key accounts
11. Identify and develop areas of improvement and business interest
12. Prepare and execute strategic plan for his territory for the Nipro branded products in order to grow sales and sustain profitability
13. Participate to the strategic positioning of the product category in the country in collaboration with category manager/Country manager
14. Follow up processes between branches/key accounts and the HQ (logistics, financial, quality, registrations, marketing) and intervene and reflect on solutions if bottlenecks would appear.
· Participate and contribute to company overarching projects (e.g. SAP, CRM, etc)
15. Support and integration of targeted M&A’s

In order to succeed in the position, one would need to have a good understanding of the P&L, being able to make thoroughly analysis, creative, solution minded, being able to structure, a will to success, people minded, hands on, looking on the long term, a nose for opportunities and have a passion for growth.
17. He/She will have good people management skills in order to develop his/her team members
18. She/he will have very good strategic skills in sales and product management
19. He/she is at ease with budget and P&L’s
20. She/he is fluent in English and French. Any other language is an asset
21. An experience in the medical device sector is a very strong asset
22. Experience with multiple countries
