Key Responsibilities:
1. Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
2. Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
3. Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
4. Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
5. Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget.
6. Define and report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities throughout project and program life cycle.
7. Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project team meetings.
8. Monitor staff performance and complete performance reviews.
9. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
10. Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
11. Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
12. Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
13. Deliver progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas, make proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, Head of IT, and key stakeholders.
14. Demonstrate awareness of current technologies in the industry and make recommendations for the long-term IT strategy.
15. Ensure reporting requirements are captured and implemented to end user satisfaction.
Knowledge and Skills:
16. Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies is essential (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum etc..). Certifications is a plus.
17. Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Projects, Devops.
18. Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management.
19. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
20. Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary.
21. Experience in successfully leading small projects to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close.
22. Experience in providing on site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
23. Experience working both independently and, in a team, -oriented, collaborative environment.
24. Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Required qualifications:
25. Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
26. 2+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
27. 2+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.
28. Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership
29. Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
30. Willing to travel ad hoc to meet projects requirement.
