Job Description
* Operational Activities: The Accountant will perform various operational tasks, including supplier invoice processing, bank statement reconciliations, and payment processing.
* Closing Activities: This role involves contributing to closing operations to ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
* Reinsurance & Claims Management: The Accountant will prepare third-party statements, track payments, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
* Tax & Fiscal Activities: This position requires preparing tax-related tasks and continuously looking for process improvements.
* Cash Management Support: The Accountant will monitor cash management (banks and cash position) and provide guidelines or recommendations.
* Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring compliance with local regulations applicable to the branch and securing timely closing activities is a key responsibility.
* Financial Data Quality & Analysis: Conducting regular financial data quality reviews and meeting local and group reporting requirements is essential for this role.
