As a member of the Mechanical team, you will be in charge of working on future innovation projects by ensuring all these technical tasks :
- Utilize Solidworks or other software to create 3D models and assemblies
- Coordinate with the drawing team to respect the dimensioning
- Perform and manage design calculations
- Take ownership of discussions with suppliers to optimize the design of components for manufacturing.
- Provide technical expertise for the design review with the team
- Take initiatives in conjunction with the project leader
- Participate in the prototyping phase through the mechanical assembly
- Ensure technical coordination within various engineering disciplines
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD software and simulation tools.
Profile / Requirements :
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering
- Interest for CAD modelling (solidworks), engineering drawings and green-mobility.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB,PYTHON) for mechanical and thermal calculations
- Good knowledge of transmission elements (engines, shafts, gears, bearings)
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and electrical systems
- Knowledge of different industrial manufacturing methods and their "Design for Manufacturing" methodologies..
- Ability to understand clear and complete drawings.
- Bilingual in French and English
