Dalcq is a Belgian company, active in household appliances for almost 50 years. Their brands are part of the daily life of many households and are passed on from generation to generation. Since 2012, Dalcq decided to expand its range with a second activity: the distribution of international high-quality brands in small household appliances, which allows them to meet all the needs of the customers!
Since 2017, under new owners and strategies, the company has changed its pace and is now growing fast (40% per year). The objective is to keep on with this speed and build a strong team to create the basis for a best performing company. In this context, the new employee will arrive in a company full of opportunities.
Role purpose
They are looking for a procurement & supply chain analyst that will help them structure, measure, improve and manage the entire supply chain of our products. This ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete process from forecast, over ordering till delivery at their premises.
Key responsibilities
* Responsible for development & implementation of more transparent & structured supply chain
* Manage procurement line for part of our various products and pieces (+/- 2.000)
* Come with substantiated suggestions to improve process e.g. alternative materials, additional sourcing partners, etc
* Establish strong communication processes with internal Business Units, allowing positive mutual collaboration with internal customers
* Define, Implement and measure internal KPI’s
* Define & implement strategic analyses helping stakeholders such as stock rotation, suppliers benchmarking or cost analysis
* Lead further improvements on tools and processes
Profile
* Logistical, supply chain or procurement experience (5+ years)
* Demonstrated analytical experience
* Eager to dive into details to understand operational flow & build up overall picture
* Ability to efficiently implement defined actions and to introduce processes changes
* Strong reasoning capabilities combined with solutions’ oriented approach
* Strong communicator with open personality and “critical eye”
* Ready to work in a SME environment
* Experience in working with vendors from Asia is a plus
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Good IT-skills (ideally Odoo) and quick learner capabilities
* Fluent communication in French and English – Dutch is a nice to have
