Technology Management Services (“TMS") Division (CIO Office)
The CIO office acts as a trusted advisor for IT and non-IT partners, by constantly following & facilitating internal needs, whilst incorporating external best practices and industry standards where relevant and applicable to Euroclear. Supports the organization in meeting our IT objectives aligned with our corporate objectives. Develops effective relationships / processes with business units, divisions or groups of users, and uses influence for transversal alignment across the organization. Ensures required services are identified, developed and sustained to the satisfaction of the business unit/division. Identifies gaps in processes and actively looks for efficient solutions, simplification and/or industrialization in collaboration with IT Divisions and non-IT partners to ensure value delivery.
Your role will be part of the Strategic Sourcing Tribe.
This Tribe equips the company with the right IT capabilities and manages the end-to-end lifecycle of a specific scope of IT vendors such as strategic Outsourcing partners, Technology vendors and Contractor Agencies, in order to bring in best value from vendors to IT.
The Strategic Sourcing Tribe is seeking an IT Business Consulting Specialist in the Outsourcing & Contractor Agencies Squad who will act as a practitioner in Sourcing & Vendor Management fields and intervene at tactical/ operational level, in conjunction with IT delivery teams.
Role
As an IT Business Consulting Specialist, you
1. Manage relationship, performance, risk, regulation, compliance of IT Outsourcing Partners and strategic Contractor Agencies.
2. Manage contracts with IT Outsourcing Partners.
3. Act as a contracts Subject Matter Expert during related Partners Steering Committees
4. Provide sound advice to Tribe Leads, Roadmap Managers and Product Owners
5. Collect and provide the necessary information, use knowledge and expertise to support and influence the decision process in your domain.
6. Take action to resolve conflicts with appropriate level of support from peers and/or management.
7. Organize, coordinate, and plan your own activities independently according to stakeholders’ constraints.
8. Look how current procedures and processes can be improved.
9. Provide feedback to management on activity progress.
10. Have full autonomy on the decisions to be taken within domain under own responsibility.
You have
11. A vendor management and/or project management experience of minimum 2- 3 years
12. Excellent English communication skills (talking, writing, and presenting)
13. A good understanding of waterfall & agile methodologies
14. Relationship-building skills
15. Negotiation skills
16. Analytical skills and critical thinking skills to identify risk and opportunity areas.

An experience involving offshore counterparts, or an understanding of the financial post trade industry are two enablers.
