Hermès Benelux-Nordics is a subsidiary of Hermès International responsible for the distribution of Hermès products in Benelux and Scandinavia. The network consists of 7 stores (Brussels, Knokke, Amsterdam P.C Hooftstraat, Amsterdam Bijenkorf, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo) and 1 concession (Luxembourg) as well as a regional headquarters in Brussels.
As a member of the Comité de Direction, you will report to the General Director of Hermès Benelux-Nordics and manage a team of four: two Area Communication Managers, a Windows Officer, and a Communication Assistant.
Mission
Your mission is to build and deploy the brand vision for the Benelux-Nordics region, enhancing the notoriety and uniqueness of Hermès while developing the subsidiary's business in compliance with budgetary constraints.
Main Activities
You will work to express the uniqueness of Hermès across the region and cultivate the brand's desirability by:
1. Considering the cultural specifics of each country and their level of familiarity with Hermès.
2. Listening to the aspirations of today’s and tomorrow’s clients: reactivity, innovation, and anticipation of trends and lifestyle changes.
In collaboration with the Communication Department of Hermès International, you will propose a communication strategy (PAID/OWNED/EARNED) tailored to each country’s specifics and aligned with the subsidiary's long-term goals.
Profile Required
* Experience of at least 8 years in luxury product communication or a selective universe.
* Strong capacity for creating and managing networks of information and influence.
* Negotiation skills with partners and suppliers.
* Strategic vision and knowledge of sustainable development issues.
* Leadership, teamwork spirit, and operational qualities (organization, anticipation, animation).
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English; Dutch or a Scandinavian language is a plus.
* Artistic and literary sensitivity, along with a sense of humor.
