Client:McBrideLocation:Job Category:OtherJob search engine-EU work permit required:YesJob Reference:0caf86bf0693Job Views:4Posted:24.01.2025Expiry Date:10.03.2025Job Description:If you are ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking and a team player and interested in growing your career with an International FMCG business, please read through our job opportunity.Key Responsibilities:To be accountable and operate all supply chain planning activities across the Unit Dosing division from raw materials and packaging to finished products and final customersLead short and long term supply planning that manages inbound, manufacturing and outbound capacitiesTo lead the attainment of customer service targets across the division (95% minimum)Lead demand planning and maximise links with other functions (Commercial, Finance) to drive performance improvementsTo deliver all capacity plans for the manufacturing and distribution partsManage IBP process at Division levelImplement group supply chain planning standards and optimise overall network determined by the Group IBP leadTo drive and implement group IT tools linked to UK and ex-CE SAP systems for demand, operational capacity and supply chain planningTo define, operate and keep under review the stock policies for raw materials, packaging and finished products based upon product profiling and supply chain planning process metrics which meet business and customer requirements (service level, lead-time, working capital)To work collaboratively across all divisions and group functions to engage in developments for overall business benefit (cost/cash reduction and/or increased customer service)To ensure purchasing, manufacturing and logistics are capable and compliant to execute the supply plansTo define, agree and communicate the supply chain planning metrics, their compliance performance measurements and opportunities for continuous improvements in supply chain planningParticipate where necessary with external customer and internal customer initiativesTo lead the demand planning function and maximise the link with other functions (commercial & finance) to drive performance improvementsTo lead the Master Planning team which plans the inbound, manufacturing and outbound capacities as part of the Group Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processTo manage a team of Supply Chain (Demand, Master Planning) professionals, to ensure they are directed, motivated, trained and developed, organised, co-ordinated, work collaboratively and give appropriate inputs into the full Supply Chain Planning and S&OP processesDevelop, manage and control the divisional Supply Chain Planning annual budget and expenditure within the group targetsWork collaboratively across all functions (and Divisions) to engage in development for overall business benefitTo be fully prepare to visit the divisional sites when required to do so (some travel requirements)Key Result Areas:Accountable for CSL level to target (>95%)Accountable for Raw materials and packaging stocks to targetAccountable for Raw materials and packaging obsolesce to target or lowerAccountable for Finished stocks to targetAccountable for creation of business plans that reduce purchasing and operational costsAchievement of cost centre budgetManaging consultancy within budget where appropriate100 % PDR completion to timeRelevant and Quantifiable Measures:Small team of direct reportsExperience and Skills Needed to Do the Job:A strong leader with a credible Supply Chain Planning background who can lead a team but also demonstrate a clear understanding of the wider businessStrategic mind-set with the ability to demonstrate a clear vision for the future and effectively communicate this to all levels of employeesStrong, effective communicator with the ability to thrive in very changeable environments and remain focused on delivering a successful resultProven ability to form, and lead a team to achieve a common goalExcellent intellectual capacity and application with the ability to effectively apply that to a variety of commercial situationsGravitas, complete with strong people skills and man management capability, able to shape and influence key stake holders and decision makersStrong project management skills, with the ability to push projects over the finishing line with sound planning and persistent execution, understanding how to align resources, seek the input of other key stakeholders and manage others to achieve the key resultsOrganised, disciplined, able to work to deadlinesTechnical Competencies & Desired Qualifications:Educated to degree levelFluent in English, other European languages are beneficial10 years progressive management experience in supply chain related function (S&OP, Demand, SCP, IBP)Experience of working in a cross functional, cross-cultural organisationExperience of implementing change management projectsStrong experience of working with IT systems, i.e. ERP and Planning Tools, and MS 365 Applications, i.e. Excel.
