Position: Threat Intelligence Analyst
The Threat Intelligence Analyst in the risk and compliance team is the responsible for the gathering and analysing of strategic threats that potentially introduces a risk to the Global Office or the wider BDO brand. The role aims to provide insights into the main strategic threats and risks and drive forward other processes that ensure mitigation of these threats and risks.
Key accountabilities
As the Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and executing the Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence process.
* Developing and maintaining the current Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence activities to further mature the process.
* Engaging with security and technical contacts within our organisation to understand the current threat landscape and attack surface.
* Collaboration with technical and tactical threat intelligence analysts in our organisation.
* Reporting the current strategic threat landscape to key stakeholders in the Global Office and the wider BDO network.
* Exchanging threat intelligence information with key contacts throughout the BDO network.
* Supporting the identification of mitigation actions on identified threats and tracking the progress on these actions.
* Other supporting activities within the Information- and Cyber Security teams.
Qualifications and Experience
* a Bachelor in Information Security, Information Technology or a related field or relevant industry certifications.
* a minimum of 5 years of working experience (in cyber security, security engineering, digital forensics, incident response or threat intelligence). It helps if you have worked within a large and complex organisational structure and have experience with client engagements.
* The ability to communicate fluently in English. Ability to speak a second language is a plus.

* the ability to be independent, decisive and a self-supporting team player.
