As HR Business Partner, you will support local management teams and employees in line with the HR strategy. You will help improve HR processes and support change management to take service delivery to the next level.
You will work closely with the local HR Director and HR colleagues from our Central team, aiming to align HR initiatives with the business strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR policies, performance management and HR reporting.
* Advise managers and colleagues on HR topics, with a focus on constructive solutions.
* Improve and automate HR processes.
* Ensure timely and correct preparation of payroll.
* Develop and implement the HR guidelines created by our Central team to ensure a smooth integration in our Village.
* Develop, coordinate and follow-up on the learning & development needs: contact with internal/external trainers, creation of development plans, admin and follow-up.
* Keep HR documents and templates up to date.
* Continuously strive to optimize HR support and processes.
* Responsible for the recruitment process from A to Z.
* Actively contribute to a qualitative inflow of candidates through various channels.
* First and last point of contact in the onboarding and offboarding (administration) process.
* Follow-up the full employee lifecycle, ensuring everyone feels welcome from day 1 and that everything is taken care of for them, helping them integrate smoothly or when leaving the business.
What makes you special:
* Bachelor in HR, Economics or Law (Master is a plus).
* Minimum 3 years of experience as HR Business Partner or in Recruiting, preferably in a retail environment.
* Fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus but not a must.
* Knowledge of Belgian labor law.
* Excellent communication skills and a structured working style.
* Skilled in building strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues from different cultures.
* Impactful communication style and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to influence line managers and facilitate change management.
* Demonstrate a high level of empathy, self-awareness and resilience.
