About the Role
You will be part of the operational business and a newly formed team responsible for providing programmatic leadership to drive growth of our services businesses across the Benelux region.
Our services encompass all product lines of business with varying levels of participation and success across the region, with revenue of over $500 million. Major focus areas include HVAC Systems, Low Voltage Systems (Security, Controls, Building Automation, Fire Detection) and Fire Suppression & Industrial Refrigeration.
We are looking for a strategic leader who can work with regional and line of business leadership to develop, implement, and monitor strategies and action plans focusing on achieving above market service growth and profitability in a sustainable manner and drive retention- and margin improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Define/structure/lead aggressive action plans to grow our Service Business exponentially built on our long-term Strategic Vision.
* Indirectly lead a team of Service professionals and provide day-to-day direction and coaching to the cross-functional team on priorities, objectives, processes, and tasks.
* Create and develop Go-To-Market plans for main business areas in collaboration with the regional strategy department.
* Define with local operational leadership the organisational design to ensure profitable growth.
* Further professionalize the service sales organisation.
* Deploy and closely collaborate with the solutions team to develop service offerings across the region prioritized based on growth potential and market demand.
* Supports the development of all Service-related Acquisitions (Bulk, Service, Chiller rental) together with the Director Acquisitions and Alliances.
* Promote the organization at high business levels and develop customer partnerships and alliances.
* Manage Service Operational Excellence to implement appropriate action plans focusing on GM expansion, G&A reduction, and operational effectiveness of the Field Operations.
* Implement IT platforms and training programs across to ensure our service sales workforce is enabled to work effectively.
* Customer Satisfaction/Loyalty programs to develop and track action plans based on the insight gained together with regional CS team.
* Focus on communication, people development, customer interaction & measuring results.
* Drive teamwork, culture, compliance and integrity.
Requirements
* University degree, MBA or equivalent academic qualification.
* Minimum 10 years in business development or sales leadership for service businesses with revenues more than $300m.
* Experience working and executing Service Go-to-market service growth strategy in the Benelux region is required.
* Successful track record as a sales Manager or Service leader is preferable; suitable candidates would be coming from within a blue-chip company with technical orientation.
* Experiences in converging industries such as Building Automation, IT and Telecommunications will be also well suitable for the role. The role requires management understanding along the entire value chain of design, build, operate, maintain and serve.
* Extensive sales, operations and people management exposure.
* Outstanding track record of achieving sustained profitable growth.
* Experience of working in international organisations and within an international setting, preferably having spent time working abroad.
* Experience of working with US multinationals (preferred).
* Experience with Performance Contracting/ESCO/Sustainability Market strategy is highly preferred.
