My client is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to look after multiple departments excluding the restaurants.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a 5* Luxury Hotel setting, not only will you need to provide excellent customer service but also you will need to be able to address your guests in French, English and Dutch ( this is a non negotiable).
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Operations Management
* Oversee the daily operations of the F&B department.
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all F&B areas.
* Implement and monitor standard operating procedures.
Staff Management
* Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
* Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
Customer Service
* Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
* Handle customer complaints and feedback.
* Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
* Prepare and manage the F&B budget.
* Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
* Implement cost-control measures and strategies to increase profitability.
Inventory Management
* Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of food and beverages.
* Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
* Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.
Menu Development
* Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus.
* Ensure menus are in line with current trends and customer preferences.
* Monitor food quality and presentation.
Compliance and Safety
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards.
* Conduct regular training on health and safety protocols.
Marketing and Promotions
* Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers.
* Plan and oversee special events and promotions.
* Manage social media and other promotional activities.
Qualifications
* Education:A degree in hospitality management, business administration, culinary arts, or a related field is often preferred.
* Experience:Several years of experience in F&B management or a supervisory role within the 5* Luxury Hospitality Industry is regarded very favorable.
