Mission
In the frame of the development and evolution of our current Mine Counter Measures (MCM) systems, we participate in several R&D projects at national and European level. As system architect of unmanned systems, you will take the technical leadership for Exail Robotics Belgium in a European R&D project, ensuring the following of the V cycle for all the developments.
Responsibilities
1. Work in close collaboration with the project manager to define, organize and supervise all technical tasks.
2. Implement and validate the V cycle for each system.
3. Optimize the teams’ efforts and workflow during the project.
4. Validate all technical developments, documents and reviews.
5. Monitor the prototyping and the tests of all systems.
6. Be the technical point of reference for Exail Robotics Belgium in the Consortium.
7. Be the main technical interface between the teams of Exail Robotics in France and Belgium.
Profile
1. You have a master’s in engineering, specialized in electronics, electromechanics, robotics or mechatronics.
2. You have at least 5 years of experience as a system engineer for robotics or automation applications. Experience in marine robotics is a plus.
3. Experience in MBSE is a plus.
4. A plus if you are familiar with the maritime world and its constraints.
5. Teamwork and good communication skills are a must.
6. People management skills are also a requirement.
7. You have a proficient level in English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
8. You are hands-on, and therefore not afraid to roll up your sleeves yourself.
9. You like a challenge and enjoy trying new things.
