Within the COO Office team, we drive transversal action plans with an objective of operational efficiency, we monitor their impact and launch initiatives to achieve performant Operations. These topics are highly visible topics and contribute to 24-26 OPS strategic plan. The COO office is directly reporting to the COO and the Management Committee of AXA Belgium. The team works in close collaboration with all Operations (‘OPS’) departments, representing ~1500 collaborators.
We are looking for a dynamic & pragmatic profile to support operational performance steering, across all Operations teams, ensuring Operations are running efficiently and effectively. This profile will report directly to the Head of the COO Office.
The mandate is transversal to AXA BE, and includes the following activities in support of the Senior Performance Manager Transversal OPS:
1. Support the set-up of a transversal performance management framework ‘à froid’:Together with the Senior Performance Manager, monitor and analyze the performance of AXA BE OPS processes, transversally (focus on quality of service, operational excellence & efficiency, technical performance, etc…)Identify deviations and potential bottlenecks impacting business KPI’s preventing realization of target Ops Strategy 24-26 impact.Support in proposing recommendations and in launching initiatives to improve performancePrepare conclusions and key messages for Management Committee & Senior Management reporting Ensure the liaison with Distribution, Customer, HR to be able to understand the OPS key metrics in a transversal end-to-end context.
2. Support the creation & improvement of transversal OPS performance reportsTogether with the Senior Performance Manager, design and coordinate the development and the implementation of performance dashboards and tools by Data Office & BI-dedicated teams within BUTogether with BU-specific Performance Managers, define priorities to build the relevant KPI’s that will be monitoredParticipate in the definition of performance standards that could be propose transversally for all BU’s.
3. Support the animation of local Performance Management Community & support in the participation of Group working sessions on performance managementWork closely with BU-performance managers ensuring alignment at all levels (BU & transversal)Share best practices, enforce methods & tools to improve performance analysis & monitoring at BU levelProvide training / support to BU-performance managers to promote a culture of performance management in OPS
Your Profile
We are looking for a profile with at least 3 years’ experience in performance management (finance/ operational/ etc) and/or operational efficiency improvement.

5. Ability to translate complex analysis in easy-to-understand conclusions with concrete action plans
6. Solution-oriented, challenging attitude and proposing action plans to meet target sets
7. Stakeholder management skills (assertiveness & negotiation skills) – to handle transversal performance with various stakeholders (BU-performance managers, data & reporting representatives, counterparts from HR, Distribution,…)
8. Strategic thinking, understanding link between target KPI’s and strategic ambition
9. Ability to structure and monitor delivery, being the effective liaison between Business OPS, Data & Reporting representatives
10. Proactivity and ability to work independently
11. Perfect knowledge of French or Dutch, active knowledge of the other official language and of English
