The profile sought
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance within your area of responsibility, thereby contributing to the development of both the company and its subsidiaries. You will closely track the profit and loss account and cash flow of activities, making proposals to management for optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performance Management: Challenge, manage, and discuss results monthly with the Operational teams to ensure alignment and improvement.
* Project Oversight: Monitor contract and project performance, supporting managers in identifying areas for enhancement.
* Billing and Margins: Ensure timely billing and accurate margin calculations to maintain financial integrity.
* Order Management: Challenge the recording of orders and periodically review the final project estimates for accuracy.
* Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate closely with managers to draw up budgets and medium-term plans that align with strategic goals.
* Process Improvement: Propose ideas for enhancing financial performance, achieving cost savings, and optimizing processes.
* Data Analytics: Design and implement analytical dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
* Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with other financial departments on specific financial requests relevant to your area of expertise.
Who You Are:
* Education: Master’s degree in Economics or Finance.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial position, ideally starting in a Big 4 firm or with comparable experience in a large organization.
* Technical Skills:
o Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
o Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
o Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
o Familiarity with economic and financial principles, including IFRS, costing methods, and financial analysis.
* Personal Attributes:
