As the Sales Operations Manager for the incredible Eastpak, JanSport and Kipling brands in EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our brand's commercial organization.
You will oversee key operational processes, including forecasting and Gross-to-Net, to ensure alignment with our strategic goals. By leveraging data analytics and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize our sales operations and deliver exceptional results.
You will be joining our EMEA Packs Sales Operations & GTM Excellence team based in Antwerp, Belgium.
How You Will Make a Difference
Wholesale Operations:
1. Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and budgets, collaborating with sales, finance, customer operations and supply chain teams.
2. Oversee the Gross-to-Net process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Measure success through forecast accuracy, scorecard metrics and deadline respect.
3. Provide, through the sales analysis team, daily and weekly dashboards and reports to the sales force and sales management covering pre-books, additional demand business as well as Returns, Cancellations, Credits/Debits, Contracts.
4. Manage and maintain sales tools and the B2B platform, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
5. Together with the Salesman Sample Coordinator, oversee and regularly evaluate the SMS process, including costs, shipments and returns.
6. Support the sales team incentive plan by creating metrics, providing accurate data and analysis. Ensure timely and accurate calculation of sales bonuses.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
7. Track monthly forecasts and analyse variances to identify potential issues and opportunities.
8. Utilize data analytics tools (like Power BI and Cognos) to track key performance indicators and generate insightful reports.
9. Identify trends and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
10. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Team Leadership:
11. Lead and mentor a team of sales analysts and coordinators, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
13. Organize quarterly training to the commercial team (internal and external stakeholders) related to the sales processes and tools.
14. Build internal and external sales operations networks and communities, ensuring awareness as well as sharing best practices and developments in the sales operations arena.
Skills for Success
Our ideal candidate is curious, smart and precise, preferably with knowledge of sales operations best practices. If you have exceptional organizational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you. On top of this you have:
15. Strong analytical skills, preferably with experience in multinational/pan European, international Company.
16. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, demand or supply planning, financial or business planning.
17. Deep knowledge on P&Ls, G2N and financial forecasting/planning.
18. Project management experience required.
19. Ability to make clear dashboards / draw conclusions to support business. Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tool is a plus.
20. Strong leadership and communication skills. Highly motivator. Capable to build a true relation of trust with both commercial team and other business partners.
21. Proficient level of English.
22. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other information packages (Cognos, SAP or similar, etc).
23. Excellent time management and ability to work under timeline pressure.
