Are you prepared to fuel the growth of an exciting scale-up that's transforming the logistics industry? Do you want to collaborate with an outstanding team you'll cherish forever? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you!
Founded in 2016, Peripass is a logistics SaaS scale-up. Our Yard Management Software enables industrial and logistics companies (think of companies like Bridgestone, Alpro, and Saint-Gobain) to smoothly manage the complete flow of trailers rolling on and off their sites, as well as all trailer movements on-site.
With a solid revenue foundation already in place, our sales and overall company growth are skyrocketing. In 2024, we've doubled our team, moved to a brand new office and our growth ambitions for the upcoming years are at least as high. We've also secured €7.5 million to boost our global expansion. The investment helps us to accomplish our mission to digitize and automate logistics. You can read all about it in De Tijd or Tech.eu. Last but not least, we finished 20th in the Deloitte Fast 50 with a 646% growth! Exciting times are ahead.
Want to be part of this adventure? As a QA Engineer, you will:
Test Management:
* Write and maintain detailed test plans for both new and existing features to ensure minimal production issues.
* Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive coverage through unit, integration, UI, and end-to-end tests.
* Prioritize testing efforts based on the severity of potential bugs, determining whether they require a hotfix, patch, or can wait for a future release.
* Identify and assess edge cases and risks based on a deep understanding of the product and how users interact with it.
Test Automation:
* Prioritize test scenarios for automation, balancing manual efforts with the cost-effectiveness of automation.
* Maintain the test automation suite, ensuring reliable reports with minimal false positives and negatives.
* Work with the development team to update automation tests and scripts as new features or changes are introduced.
Quality Assurance:
* Perform manual testing on new features, ensuring robustness, usability, and consistency with the rest of the product.
* Apply a “try to break” mindset to verify feature stability, an “end user” mindset to ensure usability, and a “product consistency” mindset to maintain alignment with the overall platform.
* Collaborate with product and UX teams to challenge decisions that could compromise software quality or consistency.
* Troubleshoot and investigate issues through logs and traces, improving bug reports for development teams and ensuring accurate issue resolution.
What we offer
* Play a key role from day one, shaping quality from design to release, no last-minute testing rush.
* Testing is essential, not an afterthought. Your insights help build a better product, not just catch bugs.
* Work side by side with developers in an iterative, feedback-driven process where your input truly matters.
* Develop your expertise in test automation, performance testing, and beyond, with support for continuous learning.
* Hybrid work, a strong team culture, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Probably by now, you already have a good idea of who we are looking for, but here are some pointers.
* You have at least 3+ years of experience in a dedicated QA role in a company where test automation is the default.
* You have experience in writing test plans.
* You have Selenium or Playwright experience (or other end-to-end frameworks).
* You understand APIs and are able to use them.
* You have a strong problem-solving mindset and an analytical approach.
* You dare to challenge the ideas and decisions of the development team.
* You have a solid proficiency in English (our company language) and a good working proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
