As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the company’s' business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to protect our information assets adequately and effectively.
Jr IT Business Analyst
Responsibilities
1. Develops effective relationships with business units, divisions, or groups of users.
2. Ensures required business services are identified, developed, and supported to the satisfaction of the business unit/division.
3. Establishes domain specific business knowledge and acts as the main point of contact for business support.
4. Acts as a liaison between IT development and design and the business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
5. Evaluates new applications against business functional and non-functional requirements.
6. Evaluates new initiatives and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate alternatives and/or enhancements to current business solutions and systems.
7. Prepares communications and makes business presentations on business solutions and system enhancements and/or alternatives.
General Description
8. Responsible for translating business requirements and business processes into detailed structured documentation and if necessary, for managing requests for changes to the specifications.
9. Has sound knowledge of the organization's business services business processes and systems with expertise in some of these. Understands current technology advances and IT capabilities.
10. Works mostly on the analysis phase of projects and may work alone on small scale standard projects.
11. May provide support in the preparation and execution of testing.
Role
12. As part of a project team, contribute to deliver new systems or modification to existing one’s systems through the process of business analysis:
13. Understands the needs of the internal and/or externals clients, mainly through interviews.
14. Identifies, describes, and validates business solutions to meet end users’ requirements.
15. Documents business requirements in a structured form that can be translated into functional and technical specifications.
16. Considers non-functional requirements such as computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
17. Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
18. Considers the impact on internal teams and external clients.
19. Assists in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how these automated functions are integrated into the rest of the business and IT processes.
20. Facilitates communication between business and IT communities.
21. Incumbents are specialist of the business analysis techniques and methodologies. They give advice on an incidental basis.
22. Validates functional designs derived from own business analysis.
23. May provide support to the preparation and execution of the testing phases of projects / maintenances and during the roll-out phase (. client documentation).
24. Analyses moderately complex business requirements, processes, and IT systems. Assignments are well defined.
Required Skills and Qualifications
25. 2+ year of experience as Business/Technical Analyst to be able to produce the required work products (or similar)
26. Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels, from team members to senior management level.
27. Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
28. Critical thinking skills (evaluate multiple options to settle on a solution)
29. Flexibility to quickly adapt in case of unexpected change of priority.
30. Capacity to work autonomously and in close team collaboration.
31. Understanding of agile methodology and ability to work in an agile environment.
32. Good learning skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
33. Working knowledge of PAM (Privileged Access Management) and LAM (Logical Access Management)
34. Understanding of CyberArk modules like AAM (Application Access Manager) or Conjur
35. Scrum Master Skills
36. Experience on technical projects (To understand and build requirements around tools or technology implementation)
37. Experience in generating process documentation using Business Process Modelling Notation
38. Experience with BPMN or UML tools.
