Job Title: Regional Manager, Vocation Hotels & Resorts

About Us: Vocation Hotels & Resorts is a leading hospitality company with operating hotels in Spain, Peru and Nicaragua with new openings in progress. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operations and performance of multiple hotels.
Role Summary: As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of General Managers and hotel staff to ensure (i) financial performance, (ii) operational excellence, and (iii) exceptional guest experiences across your assigned portfolio of hotels. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, improving profitability, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide strategic direction, coaching, and mentorship to General Managers and hotel staff.
-Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
-Conduct regular reviews and development planning.
Financial Performance:
-Develop and manage regional budgets, oversee hotel expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Work closely with General Managers to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement regional sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Operational Excellence:
-Ensure adherence to company standards and best practices across all hotel departments.
-Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
-Implement and track operational initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and efficiency.
Quality and Service:
- Maintain high standards of quality and service across all hotels.
-Conduct regular quality assurance visits and provide feedback to General Managers.
- Address guest concerns and ensure guest satisfaction.
Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee the implementation of safety and security protocols.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with General Managers, hotel staff, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
-10+ years of experience in hotel management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving financial targets, driving revenue growth, and leading hotel operations.
- Experience managing multiple hotels or a portfolio of properties.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as property management systems (PMS) and revenue management systems (RMS).
-Ability to travel as needed.
