Responsibilities:
As an IT Helpdesk Agent, you'll be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
✅ Technical Issue Resolution: Accurately capture and swiftly analyze technical issues reported by our IT end-users.
✅ Ticket Management: Register incidents promptly and either resolve them independently or escalate them to a 2nd line agent specialized in the respective domain.
✅ Ownership and Follow-up: Take ownership of the tickets you create, ensuring thorough follow-up until resolution and closure.
✅ Effective Communication: Play a pivotal role as the face of our internal IT department, providing direct support to our IT end-users, and effectively translating technical matters into understandable language.
✅ Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners/service providers to resolve issues efficiently.
Your Profile:
To excel in this role, we're looking for individuals who possess:
✔️ Prior Experience: in a similar role is highly advantageous.
✔️ Educational Background: A minimum high school degree (secondary school, 6th year completed), preferably with additional training/courses in computer science.
✔️ Analytical Mindset: A knack for problem-solving and a solution-oriented approach.
✔️ IT Affinity: A genuine interest in and experience with IT support.
✔️ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
✔️ Resilience: The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
✔️ Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Dutch and French, along with conversational English.
