About the Role
Our client in the energy efficiency sector is looking for a Contract management specialist (or can be called Medior Commercial Sales Manager) to join their team.
In this key role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual support throughout the sales process. Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will play a vital role in structuring offers, managing tenders, and ensuring competitive and profitable contracts.
After an in-depth training, the work schedule will be an average of 2/3 days per week at the office located in the Brussels region.
This position is ideal for a Medior profile with around 5 years of experience in a similar sales role, which aligns with the budget for this position.

Key Responsibilities :
Commercial and contractual support:
* You will provide essential commercial support during the acquisition phase by conducting market analyses, participating in pre-sales meetings, and collaborating with the sales team to structure offers and contracts.
Risk Management:
* You will analyze and manage the financial, contractual, and tax risks associated with the offers, ensuring all risks are mitigated. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize offers and meet commercial requirements.
Offer Optimization:
* The futur Commercial Sales Manager will work on improving the competitiveness of offers by aligning them with internal risk management strategies and ensuring all agreements (e.g., consortiums, subcontracting) are clearly defined.
Contract Negotiation:
* You will play a key role in negotiating customer contracts, focusing on financial aspects such as payment terms, pricing, and margins. They will ensure that agreements align with the company’s commercial objectives.
Implementation Support:
* After contract signature, you will follow up on the implementation of conditions, including deposits, payment instruments, and insurance. You will also lead handover meetings to ensure smooth transitions to the execution teams.
Continuous Improvement:
* The selected talent will collaborate with the team to implement improvements in working methods and processes, ensuring optimal performance in the commercial function.
What our client is looking for :
Financial Knowledge:
* A solid understanding of financial concepts such as budget control, accounting principles, cash management, and a good grasp of contract management, taxation, and export techniques.
Experience:
* Around 5 years of experience in a commercial or legal role, ideally within the energy efficiency sector. Candidates with transferable skills are also welcome.
Languages:
* Proficiency in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
Key Skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. You should be proactive, adaptable, and possess good time management skills.
Education:
* Ideally a master's degree in business administration or equivalent in fields such as economics, commercial engineering, legal studies with a commercial interest, or equivalent professional experience.
