Application Support Analyst - SQL/Oracle/ITIL
We have an exciting, long-term, freelance opportunity for a Application Support Analyst to join a dynamic team at a prestigious Brussels-based institution. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining key tools used for financial transactions and mission management, ensuring smooth operations and providing essential technical assistance to users.
As part of your role, you will be supporting critical systems such as the Payment Factory (PF), which handles financial transactions, MIPS, which manages missions, and Post Activity Beneficiaries Suite (PABS). Your responsibilities will include responding to user requests, managing incidents, and investigating technical issues related to Oracle applications and databases. You'll collaborate with various teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong technical expertise, including at least 3 years of experience with SQL, Oracle SQL Developer, and PL/SQL. You must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and be able to work well in a team environment. A strong analytical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are essential, as is familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
