We are looking for a IT Ops Engineer (DevOps & Incident Management) to join our IT team based in our headquarters, Brussels.
Your Mission
Optimy is looking for a talented IT Ops Engineer (DevOps & Incident Management) who would be interested in joining our venture. As a member of the IT Operations Team, you will be at the center of various departments and teams to ease the daily activities of the company.

Responsibilities:
40% Debugging and internal collaboration
1. Deep investigation of our code base/logs/database. You should have experience with larger codebases and be able to analyse code really well.
2. You will often query the database during the investigations
3. Internal collaboration and communication

4. Creating/updating environments: CI/CD pipelines, database, crons
5. Email setup
6. Renew/create certificates
7. Enabling features (set up VP or EP)

8. Develop small features in the application
9. Write scripts, automate internal processes
10. Fix broken code/scripts
11. Create queries on demand for reporting purposes
10% Checking Customer Development requests

Your Profile
14. Technical Expertise:
15. Essential: PHP and SQL
16. Familiarity: Kubernetes and Docker
17. Nice to have, not mandatory: AWS and CloudFlare, Kibana
18. Incident Management: Ability to take ownership of IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
19. Security: Knowledge of IT security principles, best practices, and implementation.
20. Documentation: Proficient in maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
21. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to provide seamless IT services and resolve issues.
22. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest proactive solutions to enhance IT operations and user experience.
