Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Internal IT department. As a Technical Support Expert, you will be responsible for providing support, maintaining IT infrastructure, managing user access, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Your primary objective will be to ensure smooth operations and maintain an up-to-date overview of our IT environment. You will play a vital role in supporting users with hardware, software, and network issues to ensure a seamless working environment.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact in 1st and 2nd-level support via the ticketing system, aiming to resolve technical inquiries quickly and efficiently.
* Maintain and manage the IT infrastructure in our offices, including workstation and network equipment.
* Perform user management tasks, including assigning permissions to ensure employees have the correct access.
* Install and maintain end-user devices, as well as distribute and manage software updates and installations.
* Support users with hardware, software, and network issues to ensure a smooth working environment.
* Document and manage client systems to maintain an up-to-date overview of the IT environment.
Requirements:
* You have completed training in the IT sector (e.g., as an IT specialist, IT systems administrator, or a comparable qualification) or have at least 3 years of professional experience in IT support.
* You bring expertise in Windows and macOS, the Microsoft Office suite, and basic networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
* Outstanding communication skills in French and/or Dutch and good English skills enable you to respond to user inquiries precisely and clearly.
* You are skilled in handling hardware and can solve technical issues in a structured and service-oriented manner.
* You are a team player with a strong service-oriented mindset and enjoy continuously developing your skills.
* Occasional travel is not an issue for you, and you are happy to provide on-site support at other locations.
