About the company
Our client is one of the leading food brokers on the Benelux commercializing strong and loved food brands, we are looking for an “Account Manager" to join the Belgian division “Chilled & Ambiant”. If you are looking for more diversity in your product portfolio and if you are eager to work on several food product categories at the same time to spice up your daily responsibilities you will be at home in this wonderful team. Moreover, you will be in contact with different retailers, with the possibilities to fulfill your clients’ portfolio with smaller retailers or hard discounters.
About the job
The Account Manager is part of a Cluster composed of sales and marketeers and is partly responsible for business development and follow-up of retail sales in Belux, both for ambient and chilled products. This includes the expansion and support of existing ranges and the launch of new brands in close collaboration with Senior KAM.
The main challenges will be:
8. Preparation and follow-up of negotiations and agreements with KAM and Sr KAM.
9. Development and follow-up of a promotion and action plan in collaboration with Marketing.
10. Transformation of the promotion plan into concrete tasks for the field team.
11. Contribute to the development of the annual business plan for the assigned customer portfolio, taking into account the brand owners' objectives, market trends and P&B Group's internal objectives.
12. Based on accumulated market and product knowledge, you are able to establish long-term professional relationships within Belux Retail .
13. You are the day-to-day contact person and work closely with the Sales Assistant on the customer portfolio assigned to you. You ensure the correct flow of information to the customer and act as a bridge between the various internal departments and the customer.
About the ideal candidate?
You have a Master's degree, preferably in an economic field.
You have a first successful professional experience ( to years) in sales. Experience in the FMCG sector would be an asset.
