As Master Data Lead, you play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a future-proof data infrastructure that supports growth, eliminates data silos and enables good collaboration across departments and brands. You will be responsible for consistent, accurate and reliable data, which is essential for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
What will you do?
1. Implement a data governance framework:
o Develop and enforce policies, procedures and standards that are the foundation of effective data management.
o Ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined within the organization for consistent and compliant data handling.
2. Integrate and centralize data:
o Centralize data through systems like PIMCORE and SAP to create a single source of truth across departments and brands.
o Facilitate seamless data flows and eliminate silos to enhance collaboration and transparency.
3. Enhance data quality and consistency:
o Establish standards and validation rules to maintain uniform and reliable data.
o Implement data cleaning processes and monitoring mechanisms to minimize errors and prevent supply chain issues.
4. Protect data and ensure access security:
o Develop security protocols to protect sensitive data and manage access effectively.
o Minimize risks (for example: data breaches or unauthorized access).
5. Create scalable and future-proof solutions:
o Build a data infrastructure that supports growth and adapts to new technologies, such as AI and Industry 4.0.
o Continuously optimize processes to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
6. Improve operational efficiency:
o Collaborate with operational teams, finance, and other departments to understand data needs and prioritize accordingly.
o Ensure streamlined data flow from R&D to supply chain and website, avoiding duplicate steps or errors.
7. Monitor and report data performance:
o Develop KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track data performance and implement improvements as needed.
o Provide stakeholders with timely access to high-quality, relevant data for decision-making.
8. Lead and develop all master data people:
o Coordinate and guide the master data team responsible for data activities across multiple brands.
o Offer training and support to staff to ensure adherence to best practices and emphasize the importance of data quality.
Profile
* You have a bachelor or master degree and min 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* You have experience in data management, governance and system integration (experience with PIMCORE is a plus).
* You have proficient experience working with SAP.
* You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* You are an effective communicator who can inspire teams and stakeholders.
* You are results-driven, proactive and have a hands-on approach.
