SUMMARY AND OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
The CIO will identify and execute a technology vision designed to enable the execution of objectives and strategies of the company. He/she directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development. This role will lead all global operations of the Information Technology organization including programming, operations, technical, desktop and mobile technical support; department standards; procedures and workflow; short and long-term department planning, implementation of new applications and interfaces with purchased software, and upgrading existing applications to system and vendor software.
Previous experience in the following areas is a must:
* Leading an organization of 300 plus people
* Infrastructure
* Security
* Delivery Centre oversight
SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:
* Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve the Company's goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
o Define and communicate corporate plans, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems.
o Bring clarity and direction to strategic business decisions enabling immediate savings and the right investment ensuring future, sustainable growth.
o Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
* Approve, prioritize and control the project portfolio concerning the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
o Build the systems, processes and team required to support rapid growth, business and international expansion.
o Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to exploit new technologies to achieve key business objectives.
o Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
o Encourage and facilitate work in cross-functional teams to ensure optimal implementation of solutions/projects across the Group within agreed specifications, timelines and budget, including effective change management before, during and after delivery.
* Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
* Enhance and improve data security for each business and the entire enterprise.
* Identify vulnerabilities in each business unit's network.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to secure each environment.
* Coordinate with the Risk Department continuous assessment of the Group companies IT Security maturity level and risks.
* Embrace mitigation measures when and if required.
* Lead according to our customers Leadership Charter and act as a role model for leadership and staff.
o Define and agree with goals and milestones with key employees and leaders under his/her scope of responsibility and make sure that goals are defined and well communicated to their respective teams.
o Control goals achievement through set up of appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), regular management and individual meetings. Implement the necessary actions when results are not in line with the objectives given.
o Support the development of the individual performance of Managers of his/her organization.
OTHER ASSIGNMENTS:
* Ensure follow-up to GOC on a regular basis and as often as requested on IT issues.
* Guarantee and control that the Group's general policies are implemented according to the laws and general internal rules applicable to the IT organization.
* As decided from time to time by the CEO and GOC, represent the Group in professional and public events.
