Job Description:
The role of Laboratory Technical Specialist is to provide advanced Tier 2-3 IT support for research and development teams and laboratories using available technical tools. The primary objective is to enable research scientists to achieve their mission by leveraging IT technologies that enhance their work.
Main Responsibilities:
* Delivering strong communication and exceptional customer service to ensure seamless collaboration between the IT team, BIS partners, and end-users.
* Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to foster a culture of open communication and trust.
* Authoring and supporting SOPs, WIs, and validation documentation to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Providing expert support for various laboratory instrument applications, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
* Demonstrating hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Environmental Monitoring systems, and Quality Management systems.
* Supporting the configuration, administration, and maintenance activities for site quality systems, aligning operations with regulatory, corporate, and site requirements.
Requirements:
* At least 6 years of experience working in a biopharmaceutical company or a consulting organization with focus on the life sciences sector.
* 5+ years of experience in a Laboratory support-oriented role, providing expert-level support and guidance to research and development teams.
