Overview
As an Assistant Manager you are responsible for supporting the Manager in reaching the store
targets.
You support, assist and report to the manager with carrying out the Twinset procedures and
standard daily tasks.

The role :
As an Assistant Manager you are responsible for supporting the Manager in reaching the store
targets.
You support, assist and report to the manager with carrying out the Twinset procedures and
standard daily tasks.
As an assistant manager, you are responsible for developing and managing your team, following
the in store visual merchandising strategy and completing administrative paper work.
Expectations:
• Sale skills :
- Manage your team to reach and exceed the store targets and KPIs as outlined by the
manager.
- Coach your team, plan lunch breaks and manage the floor plan.
- You are constantly on the shop floor and are available to look after customers.
- You deliver an outstanding and personal customer service while complying with Twinset
standards.
- You demonstrate a passion for the fashion sector and keep up to date your knowledge
of fashion and market trends.
• Operations :
- Manage the opening and closing procedures for your store or concession.
- Operate the department till system.
- Manage the loss prevention procedure, perform regular full inventories and communicate
the stock discrepancies to the logistics department.
-Have an awareness of the loss prevention procedures in store and communicate these to
the staff.
-Pay attention to the security of the staff and of the customers.
- Maintain a good understanding of the administration tasks for the store management
(banking, cash handling, credit notes, exchanges and refunds…)
- Manage the deliveries of new collection and ensure the replenishment happens effectively.
• Visual Merchandising :
- Manage and execute the visual merchandising instructions.
- Be involved in the implementation of the new collection on the shop floor.
- Know how to suit / adapt the VM guides to the space.
- Ensure the shop floor and the windows are maintained in a clean and tidy
condition.
- Support the introduction and maintenance of daily replenishment of the products on the
shop floor.
- Communicate the VM standards to your colleagues.
- Ensure you copy the layouts of the VM tools.
- Know, use and communicate the VM tools to the team.
• Human resources :
- Support the recruitment for the store with the manager.
-Train and develop the Supervisor with a training plan that utilizes her/his skills
- Follow the training progress of the new employees.
- Identify the aspiring team members and set up plans to develop their skills
- Coach and motivate your team by giving them skill targets to achieve
- Create a good atmosphere, motivate and recognize achievements within the team
